Absolutely incredible! I've been wanting to find a good fish and chips place local to my area, well... On my way back from playing tennis, hungry and taking a chance I can say that nearly 15 years later I've found it! I've been here now around 5 times and always ordered large fish and large chips; consistently tasty food, always good chips and the fish is amazing. Staff are super friendly as well. Very happy to have found this place.

Consistently excellent fish and chips and service! We've also recently ordered their mixed grills for events and couldn't be happier. The meats are really nicely marinaded, but not spicy, meaning they suit all types of taste. They provide lovely chilli and garlic sauces which compliment the food nicely. The guys here are top class!

I am on weight loss journey. However, every time I went to local chippy, they were very polite. They always offer me a seat since I like standing outside. Food is always cooked fresh and bagged right in front of me . They even throw in a free drink when you come regularly. Great experience.

1st time I’ve been to The Village Fish & Chips this evening. Ordered standard cod, chips & mushy peas and have to say I’m impressed! Absolutely delicious & generously portioned fillet of cod with large white flakey chunks in light crispy batter, chips golden brown & crisp with a light fluffy centre. Just the way they should be! All cooked fresh and piping hot! Ok it’s pricey, a whopping £17 for large cod chips & peas but these guys know how to do it right! Top marks to the village! Very happy customer and will return very soon!

Excellent! Large cod cooked fresh, it was massive. So much so I was sure it was a foot long if I measured it, so I did once I'd finished and it was a few mm over 😂 Cooked perfectly. Chips were lovely too.

Best food and service for miles! The staff are so friendly and polite and cook fish to order. The place is always clean with ample seating to eat in if desired. The burgers and very tasty and they don’t scrimp on the chips!

Someone said don’t go there it’s rubbish. Well proof everyone’s experience is not the same. Chicken kebab, such big juicy pieces we always get chips etc from here but first time on chicken kebab. Fresh salad and juicy chunky well seasoned chicken. Sorry about half eaten pic was enjoying it too much 😄
